Character Claymation [video and reflection]

In this animation, I made a character (a literal computer mouse) out of clay and made a short animation with it.
Some struggles I had with this project was preventing shadows from getting in the shots, which there were an abundance of. Moving the character with a wire was also a challenge, as I had to fight gravity every time the mouse did a hop in the air. Removing the wire from the images didn't turn out the cleanest either, as the background seems to shift around a bit.
However, I think the movements turned out pretty nicely. The overshoot on the mouse jumping and landing I felt came out pretty good, as well as the secondary action of the mouse blinking. There could've been a frame between the mouse jumping and landing with the legs moving a little bit instead of them snapping from one place to another, however.
